Friends!

My good friends Emily and Cassie and I took our kids to the lake in Daybreak. This is the best picture I could get of them altogether. Brooks and his cousin are in the lake and Kirah, Katelyn and Rilyn stopped for a pose. There is such a difference between boys and girls. We had such a good time.

Kymbree sitting on the table at the park.

Pin out-FINALLY!

We finally got the pin out of Kymbree's finger after waiting for 6 weeks. The whole process so far has lasted 4 months! That's a long time when you aren't even a year old. Rob turned music on and she danced on the table. Let's hope that doesn't last. The doctor couldn't tell if her bone healed so we have to go back and get it x-rayed next week to see. Cross your fingers!

Miniature golf

We love to do fun things when the weather is good so we took the kids mini golfing. Kymbree sat in her stroller the whole time and was really good. She's the first of the three that would do that. I totally kicked Rob's butt. I love to mini golf. We had a fun time.

Rob's trip to Washington

Rob got to go to Washington D.C. with his union. He had a great time but we sure missed him.He met with Congressmen and Senators and took in the sights.
The capitol building.

He was standing close by when Marine One flew in. President Obama was on one of them.

Kirah turned 6!

Kirah is such a sweet little girl. She is so smart and creative and funny and truely a blessing for our family. We took her and her friends to Classic Fun Center for her birthday. We had such a fun time. The girls ate pizza and cake and skated and bounced on the bounce houses and played in the jungle and opened presents and rode their scooters and did what they do best-giggle.
The skating was not successful. Rob and Carrie are taking the skates off of Kirah and Liv.

Addie is clinging to the wall and Liv is on the track trying to help Mariah get her skates off.

Carrie is helping Kaylee get her skates off. This was so entertaining that I had to get pictures of all the skate taking off.

Katelyn posing after going down a big slide. Katelyn pose? Never!

What cute little girls! Kirah, Abby and Cambree. They are all in the same class next year too. I hope they stay close friends.

Kirah opening presents and does she look like she is having fun? She loved it and about half of the girls got her make-up. She asks me everyday if she can wear it and if we aren't going anywhere, I let her put it on. I do think I should sit down and give her lessons on how much make-up to wear. There have been a few times when she has looked like a street walker. She is still so cute though.

She loves to be the center of attention. We sang Happy Birthday to her and she blew out her candles. She wanted a cupcake cake. I totally recommend that for easy. I also had fun making her Little Mermaid cake. I was impressed with myself.

Eating pizza and being silly. I love the look on Liv's face.

We always let the kids pick a place to eat on their birthday and Kirah picked my favorite place-Village Inn-NOT! But she loved it! She said she only wanted to go there because they gave her a piece of pie for her birthday. It is fun spending time together though.

Scoping out a birthday party venue

We found Classic Skating to go to for Kirah's birthday. She put on a pair of skates and basically hugged the wall the whole time. Thank goodness they had bounce houses. That entertained Rob and I more than the kids I think.

Daddy and his princesses.

Bike rides

We love to go on family bike rides! We rode to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple which is only 1 mile from our house. It is so beautiful. Katelyn as most ofyou know is our 3 year old little stinker and she gives us such a run for our money but then she always has us laughing and says the cutest things. So when we were riding our bikes around the temple she said as she was looking at the temple. "Mom, I want to get married there." Me-"You do?" "Yeah, I want to marry Brooks there." Me-"Okay Katelyn that would be really cute." And then kind of paniced she said,"but I don't have a dress!" Me-"Katelyn, you can get married in the temple if you want to but you don't need to worry about that now and when you want to get married, all you have to do is pick out the dress you want and then go sit on your dad's lap and bat your eyes and he will give you whatever you want." At this point Rob rolled his eyes and smiled and Katelyn looked at him and giggled. It was so cute!

After our ride to the temple we went over to the park to play and splash in the lake.

Kirah getting messy. Sooo not like her!

Kymbree swinging-broken finger and all. She loved it!

Katelyn-such a little ham.
Daddy and Kymbree Anna Banana on the dock.
Kirah riding her new big bike and leading the way. I can't believe how big she is getting. Rob-pulling Katelyn and Kymbree in the trailer. His poor back locked up on him for days and days. The joys of growing old.

Are we having fun or what? Fun for Kate and or what for Kymbree.
