Letters to Santa

We went to Macy's to send the girls letters to Santa. They looked so cute and it was fun.

Katelyn, Katelyn, Katelyn

So I have to tell you all a funny story about Katelyn. The other day I went in the bathroom after Katelyn and of course, she didn't flush the toilet. I yelled "Katelyn!!! Flush the toilet after you go potty!!!!" She then said, "Yes-Your Majesty!!!"

Christmas Fun!

Rob and Katelyn went on a Daddy-Daughter date to the Utes basketball game. Mom was not very happy that dad got her a Ute tattoo on her face that lasted for days. :)

Our friends Brooke and Kent had a Christmas party at their house and Santa and Mrs. Clause came. Each of the kids were able to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. It was alot of fun!

Kirah and Katelyn made a gingerbread house.
Katelyn putting the angel on top of one of our Christmas trees.

Kirah putting the star on our other tree. Kirah also had a Christmas program at school. All the kindergarteners wore pajamas and sang a cute song. Too bad the pictures didn't turn out.

Festival of Trees

I love Festival of Trees. Every year my mom and I donate at least one tree. This year we donated 3 minitures, 2 small and 1 large. My mom has alot of stuff that she has collected for the Festival. With the upcoming move, we were getting rid of alot of it. Rob and the girls and I went on opening day with our friend Emily and her cute boys Brooks and Benson. We played in Kids Corner and had scones and sweet rolls. Yum! Katelyn and Brooks were so cute holding hands and looking at the trees. We had a great time!

Another Quick Trip to Disneyland

Mike and Megan went to Disneyland the first Saturday in November and that night they called us and said that there were no lines on any of the rides. So we decided that we really wanted to go so we loaded up the Maxima and left at 10:00 Sunday morning. We got there at about 8:00 that night and went on lots of rides with no wait. Kirah and I even went on Splash Mountain and they asked us if we just wanted to stay on and go again because there weren't any lines. She didn't want to or I would have. Megan and I stayed on it the next day though. It was so fun and just alittle crazy to go on that short of notice. But I didn't have to stress about packing like I usually do. We found out that Kymbree hates long car rides so I gave Kirah a jar of baby food to feed Kymbree while we drove. Needless to say we will think twice about the long trip again. Kirah and Katelyn were angels the whole time. Rob told them we would be there after we watch 5 movies and so they never asked if we were almost there until the 5th movie was over and we only had 20 minutes left to drive. It was definitely worth it. We love Disneyland!

Trevors Graduation

My brother just graduated from Neumont University with his Bachelors in Computer Science. It was really neat to share that experience with him. Congratulations Trevor! I'm so proud of you!

Beautiful Baby!

Kymbree is the cutest little baby. She is growing up so fast. I love this stage. We got this cute little hat and scarf from our friend Michal. She is so talented! Thanks Michal! I love them!!!

Happy Birthday to me! The big 2-8!

This year all I wanted for my birthday was a Murder Mystery dinner party. We invited our really good friends Steve and Ali, Shane and Emily and Dave and Wendy. Everyone dressed up awesome and played their characters really well. We had alot of fun. Dave was Rob's rebel child and he wore white leather pants and a leather jacket. He looked awesome! Then Steve was Big Bill and he wore a cowboy hat and bolo tie and a big belt buckle and had the best southern accent. He was in great character with that accent ALL night. It was awesome! Everyone looked great and I had so much fun. Thanks you guys for making the big 2-8 great!!!!! Thank you Kymbree for sleeping through the party and mom for having Kirah and Katelyn and especially Rob for helping me so much getting everything ready. You are the most amazing husband anyone could ask for. I LOVE YOU!!!! Thanks for the roses too. They're beautiful!

Halloween!

We started our busy day off with Kirah's Halloween costume parade at school. I loved this when I was in elementary. All of the Kindergarten teachers dressed up as the characters in Twilight. That was awesome. Mr. Plot was Jacob. His hair was ratted and he wore a torn t-shirt that said 'I love Renesmee'. It was awesome! Her class party was alot of fun. I love to go to her classroom and help and see how she interacts with the other kids. Here she is with friends Mariah and Alex.
After Kindergarten was over, we headed out to see Grandma Juddy in her scary Halloween getup. She loves Halloween and she always paints her face scary with scars and blood. And then she threw on a hat and said she was a witch. She's so funny. We all just love her. Kirah dressed up as Christmas Belle, Katelyn was a cowgirl, Kymbree was a cute little cow and Braxton was a cute little dinosaur.
Geina and Terra wanted to go to Gardner Village. It was a very nice day, we didn't need jackets. I can't ever remember a Halloween when it was that nice out. Anyway, we went to Archibald's for lunch. Katelyn decided to throw a huge fit. I had to take her outside and thank goodness for her sake there were people everywhere so I could not beat her. But she eventually calmed down and then fell asleep on the bench before eating one bite of her lunch. So I had Kymbree asleep in my arms, Katelyn asleep on the bench and leftovers to carry out. It's hard to have three kids. Thanks Terra and Geina for your help. For anyone out there feeling like you are a horrible mom-just wait til someone says-"I'm not having three kids!" I obviously wasn't handling things very well. We had alot of fun with Geina, Terra, Braxton, Darla, Miyah and Jenessa. Here we are with the witches. I guess I don't have a picture of Geina and Terra and Braxton.
We always have scones and hot chocolate for anyone that wants to come over on Halloween and trick-or-treat in our neighborhood. I love that my uncle Mike always brings his girls Kaylee and Jocee. This year Brandon brought Miyah and Jenessa too. It was alot of fun. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. Kirah and Katelyn were so funny because they wanted to be everything in the costume box this year and I figure it isn't going to fit forever-so they picked to be something different for every party. For actual trick-or-treating Kirah was Raggedy Ann and Katelyn was a the lion she was from two years ago. Is her costume too small? Don't look too close.
Thans everyone for the fun filled day!

Busy October!!!!!!

We have had so much going on this month I think it might be time to check me into the loony bin. Seriously, the pictures mostly speak for themselves. But here is the run down of all of our activities. We all had dentist appointments, Katelyn had her tonsils out, Kymbree ate her first cereal and turned 4 months old (I love this age). We made caramel apples and sugar cookies, went to the pumpkin patch and carved pumpkins with Ben and Terra, went up the canyon to see the leaves changing colors and took pictures of my adorable kids, got out the Halloween costume box and played dress up (yes, even me),Katelyn dressed up for her preschool Halloween party. Kymbree rolled over yesterday and she has been giggling ALOT. And...the month isn't over. Whew! And I don't see it slowing down until after Christmas. Who am I kidding, then we will be getting ready to move. I know all I've done is slide shows but it's hard to pick just a few pictures and I had so much to catch up on. I hope you enjoy ALL the many pictures. I really treasure them.

Busy October

Disneyland!

We had so much fun in Disneyland! It was Halloween time and the characters were dressed up. They had awesome decorations. In California Adventure they had Candy Corn Acres with candy corns everywhere and it even smelled like them. Yum! The Haunted Mansion was all decked out. It was awesome. We visited Rob's cousins that live in Mission Viejo and had a good time with them and we went to BJ's again. Then we went to Phoenix to see Mike and Megan and the girls. We went house hunting and to BJ's yet again. I'm an idiot and forgot to get my camera out the whole time we were there. If everything goes as planned(hold your breath), we will be living there in April. Yay!

Vegas Baby!

We took our family vacation at the beginning of October. We drove(as you all saw the comment about flying from Kirah). We decided to make the most of it and stop in Vegas to see Andy and Jenae and the kiddies. We left at about 4 am and drove straight through. It wasn't that bad. The kids stayed asleep almost the whole time. We hung out with Jenae and the kids and then Andy got off work early and we went to the park for his work lunch. Then Jenae and I started her blog (I wouldn't leave her alone til she did it. Sorry Jenae) I really like keeping up with everyone though. Anyway, then we went to BJ's for pizza and pizookies. They got us hooked. It was so yummy! Katelyn really wanted to kiss Will and he liked it at first but she wasn't going to give up until she got some. We had alot of fun! Thanks Attridges!

Pretty Nails

I decided that I need to try and spend more time with Kirah and Katelyn so we have been doing "mommy time". When I told Kirah that I was going to put Kymbree down for a nap and then we were going to do "mommy time" she said, "We have to take naps too?" That broke my heart alittle. Hence-needing to spend more time with the older girls. So lately, I've taken them one at a time to play whatever they want. Whether it's their CD-Rom games or any of their board games or memory games. Today we did manicures and pedicures. I don't know why I even bother with Katelyn's nails ever because she just picks it right off. I guess it's the thought that counts-right? So here are Kirah's, she wanted them like mine in a french manicure.

Cookies!

We made cookies today. Actually it
got really gross so they just played with
the dough and ate it and we didn't bake them.
But they though it was cool.

Katelyn and Jacquelyn

Kaylee and Kirah

All the girls with cookie dough and
flour everywhere. This is my attempt
to not be so anal about messes. It lasted
quite a while. I'm proud of myself!

The Crazy Corn Maze

Every year we go to The Crazy Corn Maze. The girls always have so much fun answering the questions about corn and running around the maze. We went early this year before it gets to cold outside for little Kymbree. We got 9 out of the 10 questions right and got free bowling passes. SCORE!
